I was born in Wiltshire in the 1960s, and have lived all over England, Wales, and Scotland.

I have worked as a quantity surveyor, coat attendant, barman, pay clerk, penguin dancer, outdoor instructor, and project manager.

I have loved music ever since I could twiddle the dial on a radio. My musical accolades include the dizzy heights of grade 4 violin, bumping into Simply Red in a nightclub, and – more recently – singing backing vocals on a catfish website jingle with Scottish ‘kings of midlife crisis’ Plum Duff.

My favourite bands are Faithless, Alabama 3, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
